Long Live HR Software
Posted by Arshad Merali on August 2nd, 2007 | filed in General, Workforce Management
Over the past year or so, we’ve seen a lot of activity in the HR software industry, especially with the recent acquisitions of Kronos and Workbrain, almost back-to-back.
Bill Kutik, HRE’s Technology Columnist and Co-Chairman of the 10th annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition being held in Chicago from OCT 10- 12 (a must attend event for Senior HR Management) posted an interesting story on the history of many old-school HR applications that have been acquired by none other than our good friends at Infor, (a.k.a. Workbrain) .
Its interesting to get a peek at Infor’s stable of applications and understand their plans going forward. I really like the idea of a small-company version of Workbrain… there’s definitely a strong need in the market place.
